My Story
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. A horrible statistic which means at some point in all our lives, we will all be affected by cancer - whether yourself, a family member, a co-worker, a friend or loved one Last year, my brave and beautiful friend Ashleen had the fiercest battle of her life against cancer. A battle which she sadly lost. And there is not a day goes by that I, her family and friends don't think about her. So this year, in her memory, in her honour, and in the hope that one day this shitty disease will disappear, I am taking part in Race for Life I'm not much of a runner so I will be part running, part walking, part trying to survive with my headphones in and all of Ash's favourite tunes to keep me going - it'll be like she's there with me Any donation that you are able to contribute would honestly mean the world to me and will help support a fantastic cause Thank you for reading and thank you for your generosity x
