My Story
All of you lovely people who always support me know the story by now. I've done Race for Life every year since Dan was diagnosed and before he left us I told him that I would always carry on. If it means that one person's happy ever after might be saved I'll do it time and time again until I'm literally blue in the face! Now that I work with cancer patients every day I can see that in some respects we were lucky. We got a few extra years with Dan when for a lot of people that just isn't the case. Cancer is cruel and could come for any one of us. I'm racing for my sweetheart in the sky and all of the other cancer warriors; those fighting, those fallen and those who don't even know of the battle they have ahead. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
