To raise awareness
In memory of
Mum and Grandad❤️
My Story
This year Tom Berrill and I have decided to take part in Race for Life 22. This is something that is very close to our hearts, with both our Grandad and more recently our Mum fighting and losing their battles with Cancer. This may come as a shock to some people that are unaware. Our mum was first diagnosed with bowel cancer in November 2016 but you all knowing what a strong woman she was, she fought it as strongly as she could and we thought she had come out the other side and was excited about the future and being free. Unfortunately in January this year, we were informed that the cancer was misdiagnosed and spread to other areas of her body. Amazingly, she still never gave up and was committed to fighting this battle till the very end. She passed away on Tuesday 31st of May 2022 in the comfort of her home, where she felt most at peace. We are hoping to raise money to further raise awareness for this cause and help people that are enduring the same pain. We ask to please donate if you can. Thank you x

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
