In memory of
Mum
This year I will be running the Race for Life 10K in memory of my beautiful mum who peacefully past away from cancer in June . My mum will always be the strongest woman in my life, even when she was first diagnosed with Myeloma over 8 years ago, she always had the most magical, infectious energy that everyone adored. Throughout her life, my mum was always active and kept herself healthy which reflected on me massively, with herself being the person who got myself in to running. Mum completed many charity runs including 10K’s and training for the half marathon in aid of Myeloma UK and Cancer Research, and I would always tag along when she ran with the Harriers or when she would run around the local park. When I completed my first 10K for Cancer Research a couple of years ago, I could see and feel how proud she was of me and that’s when I knew this was important to her. Cancer Research as a charity is so important to me and my family and I would love to raise as much money as I can in honour of my mum and all of those who have been affected by this horrible disease.
