Emma's Race for Life
Chelmsford 5k 2020
Sun 18 Oct 2020 - Sun 18 Oct 2020
In memory of
Auntie Chel, Grandad Brian and Grandad Dave
Very few people don't know someone affected by cancer but it seems increasingly more of these stories have happy endings thanks to new trials and research. Unfortunately Grandad Dave and Grandad Brian lost the fight years ago. Sadly more recently, so did my auntie Chel. Luckily we did manage to keep her for an extra 3 years after Dr's gave her a 6month prognosis thanks to trials and her sheer strength. May everyone suffering be as strong minded as my aunt and survive for longer and longer! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
