My Story
Cancer is happening right now, I’m challenging myself to run the 10k Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people are diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Many of us have experienced this in our network of family and friends. I’m running for everyone who has ever been affected by cancer and especially for my father in law, Mike Thomas, who has beaten cancer twice and was supported by the excellent innovative treatments available. Please sponsor me and help make a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground-breaking work.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
