My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Well I might be mad, but I’ve just signed up for the Race For Life in May not having ever done any running previously. I‘ve done Race For Life before, but it was more of a fun run with a group of work colleagues and I walked the entire race. But I fully intend to run the entire thing this year. I’m doing the Couch to 5k, and I feel that this will be a great 1st event to work towards plus an opportunity to raise money for a fantastic charity at the same time. Any donation, however small will be greatly appreciated xx

With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
