In Memory of Jess
Anyone who knows me, knows that running just isn't my forte. I've never been good at it, and I've always gone out of my way to actively avoid it. This is why the Race for Life is the best thing for me to do. We all know what cancer is, and what it can do to individuals, families and friendship groups. To anyone who has had to battle cancer, or has known someone who has battled it, I am so very sorry that you had to go through that. I find running difficult to say the least, but my battle to get fit for this run will be nothing compared to the battle other people are forced go through everyday because of cancer. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. One day we will beat cancer. Every donation you make brings us one step closer to this goal. (Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.)
