My Story
We lost my mum to cancer a couple of years ago, a couple of decades too soon. Although she is still with us in our hearts, she is not here to see her four lovely young grandsons grow up and they are missing out on her love and hugs. We miss her every day. So many people are affected by cancer one way or another. And now we have lost my brother (in-law) Murray so suddenly and shockingly, not to cancer but I am running in his memory too. I’m running to challenge myself and to raise money for Cancer Research to help in their work to understand this disease and help others.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
