My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. Our Grandad was one of the most amazing and generous people but sadly lost his life to cancer in April 2009 when we were both still really young. We remember him showing us about the coaches he used to drive as he was a coach driver, especially up at Prestonfield House one day with the peacocks chasing after us. While going to visit him July 2008, when he lived in California, he had the big paddling pool in the back garden, which we absolutely loved. We used to run about the grass from the pool racing around the sprinklers with the 3 dogs chasing us making us run a whole lot faster so they wouldn't catch us. Doing this in memory of him means a lot to the both of us as well as our family. Doing this challenges us both to participate in a gruelling physical event, but we are both ecstatic to take on the challenge and push ourselves beyond our limits. Any donation is very much appreciated. Thank you so much. Emma and Katie xxx
