My Story
When I hear the word cancer I feel very sad. I can only think of my granny who passed away just three months ago due to breast cancer. She fought during two years as much as she could and was always smiling and positive. She tried any treatment available but it was still not possible. I feel lucky because I spent 6 great years of my life with her and we had such good time together. She died when she was still very young (66) and I will miss her all my life. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
