My Story
26th May marks the anniversary of when my grans suffering ended. As the race for life is the Sunday 27th, I have chosen to take part to raise some money but also get myself back into exercise. My gran always told me to keep moving! And I had been so good keeping in shape up until my wedding earlier this year which she had been looking forward to. It was a great day but sadly there were a few special people from my life who couldn't be there. Since this I have taken advantage of not having to fit into my wedding dress, eating more and not hitting the gym! But I can just imagine walking in to visit my gran and her saying I have put the weight back on. So this ones for you granny Pat, I know you'd be proud that I'm back moving!! My wife is taking part this race for life with me (I'll need someone to keep me motivated!), Leannas nan is a cancer survivor and such an inspirational woman, so this is also for you too May <3 Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
