My Story
On 23rd July 2017 I will be running Race for Life 5k in Hyde Park. This year I have the privilege of joining a rather special team, The Female Wits. This team is running in memory of Claire Chate-Fawcett, an original member of the Female Wits and an inspirational human being who fought for many years with cancer but sadly passed away this April. I didn't know Claire as well as most of the others in this group but what I did know from the little time we spent together was that she was a beautiful, kind and passionate person who was always a joy to be around and work with. Claire is terribly missed by everyone but this year I hope to do her proud by joining the team she helped to create and raising as much as I can to help others fighting this awful disease. Please donate what ever you can - even a few pounds will make a difference. Love, Emma xxxx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
