My Story
We all know or have known either someone who, or a family who has been affected by cancer. In my case 4 years ago I was able to complete a 31 mile rowing marathon for breast cancer uk. So I’m back to fundraise again, this time the Brighton Marathon. Which is a month before my 21st birthday which unfortunately a greatly loved member of my family will not be there for due to losing her battle with cancer 4 years ago. This is fund for not only to get steps towards finding a cure but also a massive thank you for those who provide so much support in those difficult times when you have the news a loved one or yourself has cancer. This is also for all of my friends and family who were there for me when times have been hard to make some people very proud. But I’m dedicating this marathon to a few special people in my life. My nan who I miss everyday who passed away 4 years ago. But I know is definitely with me every day. My mum, who fought a long side my nan and fights every day and is totally my inspiration. My other half’s family, who have lost some loved ones who are missed dearly everyday and those I wish I could of met. And also my best friends family too. Who recently lost someone very dearly to them. Just know I’m there for you and always will be. And also everyone else who is fighting and has fought through their own battle with cancer. You’re all my inspirations with all such strong souls. Keep fighting! Please follow the link to donate. Even a penny will make us one step close to a cure! Running as “Team Shorty” please share and donate ❤️
