My Story
Last year, my Dad was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. Thankfully, he’s doing really well now, but since his diagnosis, two more people within my circle have also been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It’s made me realise just how many people and families are affected by this horrid disease. So this year I’m taking part in the Cambridge Shine Night Walk for Cancer Research UK. I wanted to do something positive, give a little something back and help raise money towards the research that makes better treatments and outcomes possible. I’ll be doing the walking — so if you fancy helping by chucking a few quid in the pot, I’d be incredibly grateful. ❤️

Prostate cancer
Each year, around 55,100 people are diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK. That’s around 150 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat prostate cancer.
