My Story
When my father in law was diagnosed with Leukaemia it came as a shock to us all, but we were filled with hope that treatment would help and prolong his life, unfortunately we lost him within a month of the diagnosis. It was so quick it was hard to take it in what had just happened over the last four weeks. I would like to help cancer research spread the word in regards to symptoms, what to look out for and when to go to the doctors. Patrick was a strong Irish man, who never liked to complain and just got on with life. He was the head of our family and is sorely missed.
