My Story
We know people ask for charity donations all the time but CJ (Christian) desperately wanted to do something to help his Dad who has just been diagnosed with bowel cancer so that no other 14 year old has to face the very scary prospect of possibly losing their Dad. We don’t know what the future holds but with your donation you can help others in situations like this. If it had been caught earlier then things might have been different so early detection is key! If you have symptoms like pain in your tummy, a change in bowel habits or losing weight etc get yourself checked and be persistent, know one knows your body better than you do! I've joined the Football Shirt Friday squad to help tackle bowel cancer. On Friday 19 November, the Bobby Moore Fund are calling on people across the nation to wear their favourite football shirts, share a selfie on social media using #footballshirtfriday and donate to the Bobby Moore Fund. 100% of the money raised will go towards funding pioneering bowel cancer research.

CAUSE
Bobby Moore Fund
Bobby Moore was just 51 years old when he died. Shortly after his death in 1993, Bobby’s widow Stephanie Moore OBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund to raise money for pioneering bowel cancer research. Since the fund was set up , bowel cancer mortality rates have fallen by over 30%. However, with 46 people losing their life to the disease every day in the UK, we still have a long way to go.
