My beautiful childhood friend has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. You never think it's going to happen to you or any of your own. She's an absolute star! She is a true fighter and will get through this but has a journey and battle ahead of her: I'm in awe of how strong she is. Always thinking of others, always looking at the positives in her life and never giving up. Love you lots Em xxxx

Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
