My Story
Thank you for visiting my page. Alongside my Dad, in March this year I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. I’m raising money for Cancer Research and I’d be so grateful for your support. Cancer Research is something very close to my heart. I will be running in memory of my Grandad Dave who sadly passed away in 2016 after battling cancer. In addition to this, recently my other Grandad was diagnosed with oesophagus cancer and my mother in law diagnosed with cancer of the tonsils. Both have been through extreme treatment; hours and hours of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a very intense operation for my Grandad. Still recovering today, I cannot even begin to explain how proud I am of them both for being so brave, so determined and so positive throughout their journeys. I hope with all my heart that they find a cure to this awful disease one day. Cancer is happening, every day, ever second, which is why I’m raising money right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thank you xx
