My Mum ... lost to breast cancer too long ago
In memory of
Valerie Constance
Mums from Nazeing school have inspired me with their dedication and love for Jackie through her illness and now, after her death to fundraise as much as they can. True friends are worth their weight in gold. I didn't know Jackie as well as the other mums but their numerous fundraising events and admiration for her have already inspired my boys to do a 5k colour run and we've baked and decorated cakes for sale at a fun day. And now it's time for me to move... and I'm looking forward to joining the other mums in an evening half marathon through the streets of London On Saturday 23rd September. CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
