Emma Walks All Over Cancer

On the 30th of March 2018 cancer took my papa from me. He was diagnosed with cancer in July 2017 and was given 4-6 weeks to live but with treatment the doctors believed he could have 6 months to a year. My papa decided that he would fight cancer for the chance to spend more time with his family. We are so grateful that we got to spend 9 more months with him. His last month was spent in hospital and watching him struggle every day was heart breaking for all of us. My papa never complained once while he was sick but we all knew how much he was suffering. It has been almost a year since my papa passed away and I miss him more and more every day. Even Bailey notices his absence and he likes to talk to pictures of papa. Bailey and papa had a very special relationship and the last time I saw my papa open his eyes was when Bailey gave him cuddle 3 days before he passed away. It was a moment that I will cherish forever. I want to raise money to help beat cancer sooner and to prevent families from losing loved ones to this horrible disease. If we work together we will win this fight and stop cancer from destroying lives. I will post a picture of my steps each day with something I miss about my papa.
