My Story

Hi again chaps xx This is my 10th !! The Pink Ladies' Tractor Road Run in aid of Cancer Research UK is a cracking event, if you haven't seen it, imagine 115 tractors all dressed up in pink!!! We all know people who have suffered Breast Cancer and the extraordinary advances in treatment are saving our friends and relations daily. Over 19 years Annie's Road Run has raised well over £800,000 and is aiming for the million. Also, it is a great day out. Everyone is welcome at Thorpe Abbots Airfield to see the tractors before we set off. If you like tractors it is great and if you like mad, extravagant pinkness, also good. Better still, bring your picnic to beautiful Gaudy Hall Meadow for lunch. It is a lovely day in a brilliant cause and it would be so good to see you! Most importantly, please would give us some money? Pretty pink please ! Lots of love to you all, xxExx

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
