Emma-Jane Walks All Over Cancer
I've seen some of my relatives suffer and ultimately die of this unforgiving disease IT MUST END NOW
In memory of
My Grandad and Nan
Those of you who know me understand and possibly share my passion when it comes to raising money for CRUK. All cancer charities I try and help. I lost my grandfather to liver cancer, which then spread everywhere, when I was around 5 years old. He was in so much pain when he was eventually admitted to hospital. I remember screaming one day to go and visit him but my family wouldn't allow it. By the time my Nan came home she had a phone call to say he had just passed away. I was devastated that I did not get to say goodbye! But it was my Nan who suffered the most, her partner, husband and love of her life for 34/35 years had gone and for another 29 years she lived as a widow until cancer (and Dementia) finally took her too at the age of 93. I have also seen friends go through the trials and tribulations of this vile disease and come out the other end thanks to all the wonderful treatments we have now. But we still need more...more research, more nurses, more treatments. Please help me raise money for this charity and (as their tagline says) HELP US BEAT CANCER SOONER
