My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m jogging 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. For me it's much more personal. You'll all know we lost mum to Cancer after a short battle in 2020. I was doing so well with running back then as it gave me head space to cope, but over the last year I have lost the running bug and I need to get it back. This way I get back in running and do something positive to raise money for Cancer Reserach. Please support by donating whatever you can. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
