My Story
Lockdown this year has given me the focus and determination to achieve a personal fitness goal that I have held. I have struggled & stressed over several weeks to be able to complete a regular 5k 'run' as a fitness effort. I have now achieved my goal, & continue to maintain this for my health & fitness wellbeing. I am pleased & proud of my small personal achievement and want to put this to good use & help others and 'pay it forward'. Cancer scares me, - it has scared my friends, and family, and work colleagues - it scares me all the more now I have children of my own. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life.
