I first ran the race for life in 2014 when I did the 5km and I am now stepping up the pace to run a 10km and challenge myself to help beat cancer! This is such a big thing for me running 10km as I never was able to run more than 1km without stopping and it has taken me time and effort to build up towards a 10km run. I am hoping that my hard work with pay off and enable money to be raised to support a cause that will help to beat cancer and find a cure for those who need it most. I have met so many people who are living with cancer or going through treatment and if I can do anything I hope that the money I raise will help to fund research that will help to give them another chance and enable them to have a second shot at living.
