Emily's Race for Life
Durham 5k 2019
Sun 30 Jun 2019 - Sun 30 Jun 2019
I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.
In memory of
Johnny Mac
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Any contribution (even just a pound) would be hugely appreciated by everyone this charity helps. I am competing in this race in memory of my uncle Johnny MacCormick, who sadly passed away in May last year after a 15-month battle with brain cancer, he was only 51. I am going to be running this race with my mum to try and raise money to help other people who's lives have been affected by this disease. Anything, however small, will be much appreciated by us. Thank you.
