Taking part in the Race for Life to help raise some money to beat cancer!
My Story
This will be my very first Race for Life and I am excited to run along side my family and everyone taking part to help beat cancer! I am running for my mum who was diagnosed with Myeloma last year. She is an absolute fighter and I'm so proud at how well she is doing, no matter what faces her along this journey. She is such an inspiration and I'm honoured to run with her on this 10k race. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
