We are taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner
My Story
For the past 3 years I have taken part in Race for life with my mum and sister. This year as Head Girl at my school I was organising alongside the deputy Head Girl for the whole school to take part in Race for life and raise money for Cancer Research. Due to Covid 19 we are unable to do this in school but I have decided that I don’t want this to stop us!! I asked my Head Teacher and Class teacher if we could take part from our own homes and we will now be completing a 1-5 k walk or run with our families! Please help us to raise some money for this amazing charity as they will be loosing out on so much of their usual donations this year! Thank you on behalf of everyone in our school!

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
