Cancer has affected my life in many ways and I know it has affected others too, which is why I like to raise money for such an important cause. When I was six years old, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the time I didn't know what a horrible disease it was but all I know now is that we are very lucky that she survived. Unfortunately other members of my family have also been touched by cancer. My great grandad and great nan and both my grandads. Only two of them were lucky enough to survive. When I do my race for life I like to think that I'm making them all proud.
