My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Giving Page. This year I am taking on a one-day long distance hiking challenge - all while raising money for life-saving research. Please donate to my Giving Page and help me take big steps to beat cancer. I am doing this challenge in memory of amazing Nan who sadly lost her battle with this horrible disease 4 years ago, we were told her cancer was extremely aggressive and a 8 week timeline was estimated for her. This was very hard for us all as at the age of 82 so was extremely active and independent. Myself and Dale will be doing this challenge together, this will be a big challenge for us both and donations would be greatly received.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
