My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. a few years ago my dad suffered with cancer but luckily beat it - I am running the race for life to raise as much money to help beat cancer as soon as possible so people are able to recover just like my dad did. Cancer is such an awful illness and it affects so many peoples lives. Whether you've had it, you know someone who has suffered from it or is suffering from it now.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
