I have chosen to raise money for this charity because I believe the work they do is very important and makes a massive difference to cancer patients and others in our community. This is personal to me as my uncle (Phillip) passed away because of cancer and other members of my family are still battling. I think cancer research does fantastic work that reduces tragedies in so many ways. I hope I can make a small difference somewhere :)

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
