Earlier this year one of my longest and dearest friends was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer aged just 29. Melissa is the brightest ray of sunshine with an infectious giggle and tendency for hilarious mishaps. I can’t find enough words to tell you what a wonderful person she is and this shouldn’t be happening but Cancer doesn’t care about fair. I’ve had some of the best times of my life with Melissa and I’m running this Race for Life for her, for other dear friends and family who have been affected by this horrible disease, and for every single person who will battle with Cancer and it’s effects today and tomorrow in the hope that one day we will BEAT IT.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives.
