In memory of
Grandma
This year I have lost one of the greatest women in my life my Grandma, whilst beating breast cancer 3 times previously, unfortunately, this time she lost her battle to 2 different cancers, she was my biggest supporter and my greatest cheerleader. Every time I have done the race for life she would always come to join in the warm-up even at the age of 85. She would be there to cheer everyone on at the finish line and her face would lit up when she saw me cross that finish line, like the proud grandma she always were. This time grandma this one is for you my angel, you will be with my as I run I love and miss you dearly. You said to me when I have raced before for grandad, 'Grandad would be so proud of you, you will be running together every step of the way. Thank you my darling'. I hope I continue to make you proud. Sleep tight angel see you at the finish line xxxx
