To help raise money to beat cancer.
In September 2016, just a few months after being diagnosed, my beautiful Nana passed away from stomach cancer. Less than a year later, whilst me and my family were still adjusting to life without Nana, my Grandad was diagnosed with lung cancer. Whilst my Nana was unable to beat cancer, my Grandad is still fighting it. I am running to raise money that will contribute to life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of cancer. Together we can beat cancer sooner.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
