Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Some of you may be aware my mum is a breast cancer survivor. It was a whirlwind of emotions for us all as a family. After some testing, she was told that she has a BRCA2 gene fault and this is what caused her to develop breast cancer. The work and research that cancer research do is forever changing lives - the fact that I can now be tested for the BRCA2 gene fault and so can be offered a variety of preventative options is amazing in itself. This is a cause that is very close to my heart, if you can sponsor me I will be very grateful xxxxxxxx
