For my mum and grandmother x
I am running in honour of my grandmother who passed away from bowel cancer and for my mum who managed to beat breast cancer a couple of years ago. After recently assisting a research project in identifying biomarkers for detecting liver cancer and experiencing the progress that can be made within just a couple of months I have seen how important it is to keep funding and driving this research as it really will mean we will beat cancer sooner !!

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
