Ellie's no booze January

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. As most of you may know back in august my world fell apart when my best friend in the whole world my gorgeous mum had to tell me and my brother she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Something you never think will affect your family, but in reality affects so many over the uk. As the months have gone on my amazing courageous mum has been so strong and a complete inspiration with so many loving friends and family around supporting her every step of the way! It is hard to know what you can do when someone you love more than anything is hurting, so I want to do everything I can to find a way for less and less people to go through this. After having a mastectomy my mum is currently going through chemotherapy, and if she can be doing so amazingly well through that, I can certainly cope with not having a drink for a month! Though I am a student who likes a regular binge and a glass of wine or two after a gruelling exam, I am willing to fight this urge so that we can beat cancer sooner!!
