My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. In May 2020 i lost my grandfather to Cancer in his Brain, due to Covid-19 i was one of only 6 people that attended his funeral. When we first found out that he had cancer he was originally diagnosed with melanoma but no doctors could track the source of this, doctors then found cancer in his lymph nodes and brain. I like to think of my last memory with him a lot because although he was very ill and couldnt even really move, my last memory was him opening his eyes to look at me, he didnt even sau hello all he said was ‘Ellen be a great girl and run to the shop for a box of malteasers’ i like to laugh at it because even in his awful health he still had that sweet tooth that i always loved. My grandad was always a active man and loved to take the whole family on big walking days out, so what better way to celebrate his life than by doing something that he loved doing with all of us so much, thank you for taking the time to ready this and although you dont have to donate i would really appriciate it if you would x
