My Story
I've taken part in the London shine walk half marathon twice and the Cambridge shine 10k. Due to the impact of covid-19 pandemic the shine walks have had to be cancelled. So I'm taking part in shine walk your way, and going to walk a marathon over September. Our lives may have been put on hold at the moment, but cancer hasn't stopped. To make sure people are still getting the support they need, I'll be taking part in Shine Walk Your Way. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
