1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, making this cause of great importance. Mum was first diagnosed in 2009, and made it to 2021 with the work and support this charity make possible with their research into better treatments for and the causes of cancer - making this organisation very close to our hearts. Myself and Mum also ran the Race for Life first in 2011, where I spend half the run on the back of Mum's work friend! This specific fundraiser holds a lot of positive memories, so I'm hoping to run many more for her.
