I'm running for my Mum!

My Story

Over the last 2 years my Mum and my Aunt have both been diagnosed with breast cancer. Their journeys have been rough and difficult but they have managed to come out the other side. I've taken part in a race for life in the past, but never when I had someone to run for. If this money I raise can go towards making sure people don't have to go through all the pain that my Mum did then it is worth every step. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. CAUSE

Breast cancer

With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
