My Grampa as well as for those currently battling cancer and those who have fought it!
My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. Help me Walk All Over Cancer and fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page. My Grampa sadly passed away from Bowel Cancer in 2007 and not a day goes by when I don't think of the amazing person that he was. My Dad is a current survivor of Thyroid Cancer and he is my biggest inspiration, remaining positive and strong throughout his entire journey. He truly is the most incredible man I have and ever will meet and it was CRUK and supporting charities that truly helped us all get through the tough battle. I also have very close friends who are currently fighting this battle, whether themselves or alongside their loved ones. With 1 in 2 people being diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives, it is even more important to fight as hard as we can to understand more about this terrible disease and hopefully one day stop it for good.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
