To raise awareness and possible funds of this disease
In memory of
Joan Clara Braybon/Jaques and Barbara & Lesley Arrowsmith
I'm taking part in the Race for Life with my two best friends. We have all been touched by this awful disease. I lost my Nana to this illness and seen my wonderful Auntie beat this several times, she is so strong and such an inspiration. I have also seen this illness take my 'second parents' from us and watching my best friend supporting her parents through this and to now be without them here with her is heartbreaking. In my career I have cared for two children who lost their lives to cancer. I think we can all think of someone we know who has had their lives irreversibly changed and damaged by this illness, it's why we need to keep the research going, let's hope we can beat this for good for coming generations. I know money is tight in the current economic climate, I am doing this for me and to raise awareness, but if you would like to donate, every penny will make a difference. Thank you
