My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Over the last few years my family have faced this awful disease, every year there is more and more research taking place which is helping many people this is all down the cancer research. Through the years their has been plenty of trials and a lot has been recognised as being successful, the more money we raise the more research will be done, meaning more lives will be saved. Please help raise money for this amazing charity for them to continue their work in saving lives.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
