My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This August, I’m running (yes I’m getting my fat butt out there) 31 miles in the month to help beat cancer. I have lost a couple close friends to this absolute brute of a disease. I have watched friends/family take it on and win the battle, but not without great suffering to do so. 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. We can all play our part to support the research that will beat it. Help fund life-saving research by making a donation to my page.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
