My Story

On the 6th of December 2018 my mummy and best friend died following a 5 month course of Immunotherapy treatment. After 4 years of intermittent cancer diagnoses’, chemotherapy, surgeries and recovery, Immunotherapy was the newest and best route to treat her melanoma. She was cancer free when she died from side effects of the treatment. I am raising money for Cancer Research UK to help find the cure for this horrible disease. Immunotherapy may be that cure and needs all the backing available to get over the final hurdle. We feel they are so close and hope to help other families not endure this same loss. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years. But we can’t stop there. Only with our continued support can they turn this research into breakthroughs that save millions of lives. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
