In memory of
My mum, my aunt and my uncle
My Story
I’m sure we all know that cancer is one of the main killers in this modern society. Sadly, I’ve lost my mum, my aunt and my uncle to cancer (they were all siblings). Just recently someone very close and dear to me has been diagnosed with cancer. This made me realised that life’s so fragile and we should be grateful for everything we have. We understand that cancer does not only affect the patient, but it also affects the family and friends around them. Therefore, in loving memory of my beloved mum, my aunt and my uncle and for everyone who’s fighting cancer, I will be running in the Race for Life event for the fourth time (this time in Margate on 21st July 2019). Previous runs were in Brighton, London Hyde Park and Norwich (please see photos below). I know there's not much time left to the event, but I really hope I could raise £300 in aid of Cancer Research UK (which is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research) to help more people survive. I would be very grateful if you could kindly support me so that I could achieve my humble target. Any donation (no amount is too small) would be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance for your kind generosity. Together we can beat cancer! *********************************************** Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
