Nottingham Pretty Muddy 5k 2019
Sat 7 Sep 2019 - Sat 7 Sep 2019
At the ripe old age of 52 I was ‘persuaded’ to take part in the 5K mud run in September. Having never run before I am determined not to embarrass myself as the oldest runner by far in my work team. I have started the couch to 5K programme and have been out ‘running’ every other day for the last 30 days. I’m never going to be a world beater or Olympic athlete; I’m not sure I’ll ever really be a runner but I’m determined to run 5K. I’d appreciate any donations to help spur me on and raise money for this great cause. My effort is small compared to the battle many people are facing every day in the fight against cancer. Thank you.
